did this cover last night while i was bored. love the soul of a new machine album. guitars are quadtracked. only a small eq cut in the 700 hz area (1 db with Q 1.0) vcc and vtm on the bus. the rest is lasses chug chug profile boosted with maxon od 820 (physical). bass is sansamp bdi (physical) with light distortion in the fx (daw). drums are a blend of different samples (slate, mm, seraph, ff kick)

did a new mix of this

great work as always! guitars really have that FF character even though they're a tad bright/harsh compared to the original guitar sound.. how much did you boost with the od820?

to be honest the only thing that makes this sound not so good = the drums. The drumsound is very poor, in my opinion, The hi-hats sounds ass, totally robotronic, no velocity changes, etc. The guitars sounds real to me.
It's clear what is on my buy list. Check out Ezdrummers Metal! Some of those kits sounds amazing, and automatic humanization to which would make your tracks sound way better then this.
Rock on

got the midi from guitar pro. did nothing on the midi. no velocity changes or automation. the oh specially the hats sound weird i know. maybe i'll fix this. thanks for your critic.
