Basically, I played the drums, bass, and guitar and we recorded in my basement. My vocalist did vocals. Helpful... We have a full band sans a bassist now, but haven't recorded. Feedback is welcome.

This would definitely benefit from better recording. The songs are well written and is something I'd definitely listen to.
It seems like a mix of groove and black metal with death metal grunts. If I lived over there rather than over here I'd come and demand to play bass for you!
The only recommendations I can make for the recording is to put a touch of reverb on the vocals and lots of compression- sometimes the music is drowned out by the vocals and vice versa.
Overall good songs and damn impressive for something recorded in a basement. That sort of recording hardly ever turns out as good as this. I give it 8 thumbs up.
