I was just jamming with my wah pedal earlier today and I accidentally got this really stupid but nice riff and I quickly wrote demosong around it but ditched the wah-pedal in the end. The playing is still super sloppy, but oh boy if you would've heard the version with the wah pedal The song will be very singer-driven, so the backing track is on purpose mixed a bit softer.

I tought it sounded REALLY cluttered to beging with until i realised i had itunes on running low in the background

tighten up the playing like you already said , I also think arrangement wise the first riff goes on a bit too long . Thats my opinion anyways

Not nessecarily, considering the genre. Ever listened AC/DC - Highway to Hell? The song pretty much only has two riffs: the main riff that is played thru the whole song and the second riff is on the chorus and solo.

I finally had to agree with this and I changed the arrangement a bit too and added a bunch of other stuff, it gave the song 1 minute more length and tons and tons of layers:

I like the chorus!
hopefully the vocals will glue the parts together, now it sounds a bit non-connected tbh...especially the "crazy" and the wha wah part after the first chorus
