Fireface 400 and OSX

hey there,
as much as i love my new imac, the digidesign core audio drivers suck performancewise. i'm looking for something more integrated, running
smoothly in the background with all core-apps and - of course - logic pro.
so do any of you use the ff400/800 with osx? whats your experience?
could you give me some information about the drivers in general use/logic?
any issues?

Firewire likes mac alot more than USB does.

I have a FF800 and it works flawlessly, BUT I used Digital Performer. I cant imagine it not working perfectly for any Fireface. I would definitely recommend getting the Apogee Ensemble if you are using Logic Pro. It's made for Logic. Has awesome converters and decent pre's.

A friend of mine runs his FF800 with Logic Pro in a G5 with no problems in his studio.
