first attempt ever please don't laugh

since I newly got addictive drums, I feel ready enough to post my first attempt. Here's how I made it:
addictive drums demo metal song with the Metal-Lick preset.
bass is ampeg vst.
guitars are tss vst (the one with the juicy 77) > dirthead > impulse guitar hack.
mastering is a ozone 3 preset.

It still doesn't sound decent, but for a first try ...
please tell me what you think and be honest, I can handle it ...

my first try was 1000 times worse
not bad, the guitar tone is absolutely nice!
anyway the mix itself doesnt seem to be beginner at all!
I m not really satisfied with the drum sound, but overally its ok for me;
congrats, keep up the good work!

Good job for your first try! Guitars sound very good. Drums could use to be a little more upfront. Maybe add some more highs for the attack and clarity of all the drum tracks. (Overheads are fine.)

ok, thanks. I did "something" to the drums. the kick is now more present, I think.
