First metal mix - any critiques/comments?

Here is a short clip I recorded, just messing with tones/mix.
I programmed some synth bass, not the best, hopefully I can rerecord soon with a real bass.

I like the riffs and the ideas but I'm not sure if I like the rhythm guitar tone. It's a little bit fizzy to my ears. Please don't take my word as being gospel though, I'm certainly no expert.

i like the mix, but the snare sounds super fake. you should pick up superior drummer 2 or a similar plug-in. I'd go for sd2, most people her use it, so you'll find a ton of threads on getting your drums sounding as good as possible without actually micing a kit
