Guitars sound weak and scooped, kick is overpowering, snare is fatiguing, doesn't sound like there's a bass guitar playing half the time. I would work on getting a good sound at the source and having all the elements in the mix at a balanced level in your daw before starting to compress and EQ to hell and back.

I can see where your coming from. I definitely wanted the guitars scooped and kick up with them to make it punchy. i had the bass fill out the low end but a bit hidden a bit to keep the spotlight on the guitars and drums. Your saying i exaggerated those things too much. also you are right about the bass not playing half the time, the verses have a bassy synth that was meant to take it's place.
