First mix post. (strugis drums, omnisphere)

Hey guys, my buddy has been posting on this forum for a while, and he's posted a few of our bands recordings before. (Unexpected Allies) I've been writing a bunch of new material, and decided to record this little section and do a little mix. I'd love to hear what you guys have to say about it, and any advice would be awesome, thanks

Sounds a bit over-compressed and I don't like the cymbal being too fake. Other than that it's great!

Really dig it, indeed overcompressed, the drums...

Nice though, I like the bass coming through the mix.

It's just overcompressed to the point that all the tones sound dry. It looks like it might have potentially been a good mix without the compression over the master. I think if you lighten up on that and also use less limiting you'll have a much better mix. Cool song idea too.

I disagree, i think the low end is too thin!

The guitars sound pretty muffled and undergained. The low-end is thin. Change up those cymbal velocities.
