This is a mix I'm doing for a friends band. The mix needs to be done next week and it will be the first public release I'll have done. Opinions are appreciated.

Oh god. I stopped when the vocals came in. You should have made sure he didn't cup the mic, as its pretty destructive to the sound. Gtrs and bass sound pretty cool, you could have tried making the drums sound less programmed though.

he actually didnt cup the mic. we had an sm7 on a stand and he kept his hands on his headphones the whole time. I also have another week and a half to make some fixes to it.

Cut some low mids out of the vocals, around 200hz - 500 hz. That should clear up the vocals a bit. The vocals could also come down a bit. Rest of the mix isn't bad.
