first time rendering an electro part

hey guys, i have a band coming over next week recording a metal song with an instrumental electro part, now they sent me over a fruity loops project with just the part itself written down, i tried to make it sound nice with some reverse cymbals and delays, but does any expert on this kind of genre have any advice for me? cause im kinda wondering in the dark here
