I just recorded a little clip using a standard digitalcam in videomode, so the quality isn't the best. It's from a little tune I'm working with, some neoclassical vibes... I know, some people seems to think that era is over, but hey, what the hell... I like that stuff.

The movie, 1.9 mb.

:loco:

Hehe, thanks man! I'm actually thinking of getting a "real" camera and record some stuff, maybe some licks and tricks and tab them down. Just to make time pass. This stuff was recorded using the "video mode" on a regular digital cam, and I think that the quality is quite ok for the webb, however it feels like it's to "slow", the framerate or something, like it gets blurry and shit.

That's pretty cool dude, you play very similar to a friend of mine. He's a very big neoclassical fan and also has that trademark finger consistency and accuracy.

The only stuff I have on the net is me playing along to some Opeth solos... nothing very extravagant:

By the way, I think the camera function you used for that video was good enough. I mean it's more than enough for the internet, albeit the sound quality was a bit lacking.

Hell yeah!!!

Three things I like from this clip:

1- the playing is really natural, not forced, your hands seem so relaxed... ...damn, my hands when I try to play something like this they clamp the fingerboard as if my last chance to live would depend on the grip on it...

2- the image quality is good! No need for a more expensive video camera! I recently bought an old Michael Angelo video transported on DVD (SPeed Kills) and the video quality is.... ...grainy and old looking.

3- the color and shape of your guitar! I like that deep dark green and the body seems confortable, it's like something between a Strato and an Ibanez RG.

Keep up the great work, pal!!!

Thanks, I'll check out your clips too! I agree on the sound quality, I'll try to fix that :hotjump:

Thanks Fabbio!
The guitar is actually a Washburn RS-980, it's a very "easy-playing" guitar, but the standard mics on it is quite crappy. However I've ordered a new guitar that will arrive in a couple of months that will be a real killer!
