First track of the new Demons & Wizards...

No longer will I waste my time on that band - that album was fucking horrible.

Maybe BG as they stand now, but there's no way Savage Circus can out-class any of BG's first 6.

I've only heard it once but found it bland dragging on. I don't remember it comparing to the s/t in anyway. A lot of the songs took long to get going nor had any climax. The guitars are low in the mix being overpowered/dominated but the kicks and drums in general. Usually Jon is upfront because his ego's sky high. Hansi sounded better on the s/t also. The production simply has no balls.

Musically the self title is the best stuff Jon has written since Night of The Stormrider.

Hansi is great but i'm not even looking forward to a new Blind Guardian because I was not into the musical direction of the last two fullengths. I'm not even looking forward to a new Iced Earth. Jon needs do try something new. He needs to keep the social studies out of his band to.

What does Nasty Savage sound like ? the name sounds familiar.

They're a primitive sounding Heavy/Thrash Metal band with a very interesting vocalist that occasionally dabbles in the falsetto.

Haha, Nasty Ronnie is the funniest vocalist/lyricist ever.

I dont know nightwish's material so i dont know, my mate reckons crimson king stole the opera ahhh ahh bit from a night wish song, is it a total rip off... or just similar. I have only heard crimson king because Hoagy plays it every second on full metal racket

crimson king is totally one of the stand outs on the album. i like about 75% of the disc with most songs being dependant on hansi s performance as jon didn t really bring much to the table. hansi is awesome though and really shows up on some tracks. i would love to see bg go back to being more straight ahead metal and less theatrical or epic in scope even though i liked quite a few aspects of the last disc. i think it was some of the song content that put me off at times however.
