I saw Sanctuary live in Charlotte, NC last night. Joseph sounded incredible. Better than any of the videos I have seen him in, so far. Really spot on, eerily spot on.

I saw Sanctuary live in Charlotte, NC last night. Joseph sounded incredible. Better than any of the videos I have seen him in, so far. Really spot on, eerily spot on.

He's hitting notes Warrel had not been able to (live) for a while now. Also, unless I'm mistaken, they are also playing at a tempo that's closer to the studio version. Up until now, they seemed to have been playing it slower and in a different key.

Were they planning on releasing another album, or are they calling it quits?

If Len has Warrels lyrics and the cadences it'd be nice to see it under Sanctuary. If I run into him the 28th I'll prod around a little.

I don't think it would be disrespectful to keep the name, especially if they keep some of the material Warrel had already written.

it would be sad to see Warrel's new work put in the can. I wonder how much of his next solo album is complete. I really wanted to hear that, as he stressed it was a lot more brutal than the first

I believe they said that the solo album was mostly done and will still be released.

Great show even though it was moved to the basement. They killed it, super impressed. Lenny was having a great time, he looked pretty burnt lol, good thing one more show and he can go home and rest. Righteous dude though, I mentioned to him he has a pretty good little band going and should do something with it, he said "I think so too." Blabbed a little with George and Joseph, mostly about Georges to die for Moser Bich bass, jeebus is that thing beautiful.

I really hope we see/hear more from them they sounded fantastic and solid. Kill Ritual was okay, singer was friendly enough we talked about nonsense for a few minutes before they went on. Iced earf just doesn't cut the gravy for me. I lasted a couple more eight dollar beers and waded through the neck beards to the door. So glad I went, it even brought a couple reminiscent tears out a couple times. Some crappy cell phone pics and maybe a vid later.
