ive seen the webpage and it says that the songs are already written.Any word on the progress?

I hope soon, because Crater is a really good thrash album and I want more!

a bad thing about those projects is that since they take so much time to do anything you lose track of their current activities

i wonder how everybody in sweden can afford to have a personal studio
Digital recording equipment is not as expensive as you may think. It just depends on how serious a person is at persuing it.

but im wondering for example, that if they always want to do the drum recordings at AB or Ballerina is because their own studios arent sophisticated enough (Waves is Mr.V,s right?)

To do drums you need a large room that is built for recording( afloat, so to speak) and I don't have that at home, so therfore we have to do drums at other places. And as said above it's not that expensive to create your own recording location in this modern digitalized world...if you want everything analogue it's a totally different thing though.

i guess programmed drums add to the coldness of the album, but likewise some drummers are ice cold like hellhammer ( i find asgeir's a warmer style than hh's)

well, if you give him like a programmed beat or notation and tell the drummer: play this EXACTLY as it is written or recorded, you would get both control and the real drum sound

it's not that easy to play EXACTLY as it is written
