Flight of the Valkyries - East (Mini-Fest)

A prequel to the full-scale Flight of the Valkyries metal festival coming to Baltimore, MD.

This mini-fest will showcase great regional metal acts with female vocals and start the count-down to a bigger festival to take place next year (probably in June). We are trying to gauge interest for a larger-scale festival with bigger national acts, so if you love metal bands with female lead singers come show your support!

There will be food, fun, and lots of ladies and Metal. We are planning to have raffles and a guest MC.

This show is something any area Metal fan will not want to miss!

A little update:

Food will be provided by Baltimore's best gourmet burger van, Kooper's Chowhound !

Check out an article on them by Serious Eats, Koopers Chowhound is going to grill up some beauties at this show, and they will be there from open to close! Don't miss out!!

Gourmet build-your-own-burgers made with your choice of Angus beef, Kobe beef, free-range turkey, veggie, or Gunpowder Bison & Trading's bison patties. We also serve the specialty burgers from our sister restaurant Kooper's Tavern (such as "Elvis Got the Blues" with Maytag blue cheese and apple-smoked bacon, and the "Charlie Brown," a glorious one-pounder) along with French fries or sweet potato fries (you can get a 50-50 fries with both), and daily homemade soups.

Flight of the Valkyries East Mini-Fest at The Ottobar!

Join us at an AMAZING prequel to the full-scale Flight of the Valkyries metal festival coming to Baltimore next year. The very first FotV East will take place at The Ottobar in Baltimore, MD, on Saturday, November 6th.

This mini-fest showcases incredible local and regional metal acts with female vocals, so you if you love metal and chicks who rock, this is the show for you!

Food will be offered by Kooper's Chowhound Burger Truck, booze by The Ottobar and Woodchuck Cider. There will also be metal merch raffles and guest MC, Mike Rocha from Shockwave Magazine!

This show is something any area Metal fan will not want to miss! Doors are at 4 pm. Show starts at 4:30 pm. This show is all-ages. Everyone can come!
