Man, I got a hold of this album and I've listened to it 4 or 5 times already... really REALLY atmospheric. Mostly pretty dark, mood-wise. I wasn't sure about a lot of the songs at first, but there is just so much depth to everything that it's one of those that takes several listens to absorb it all. Now, I can say that I love pretty much all of it without reservation. Definitely going to be picking this one up tomorrow. Billy Howerdel is the goddamn man.

I love Josh Freese's drum tones. really big but with lots of cut. I've been spinning this all day, and while he's no MJK - it's obvious he's the soul of APC. Decent vocalist, but more importantly really great song writer.

My copy arrived in the post today....APC-ish and somewhat different at the same time. Am really digging this and only 6 tracks into it. Great tunes and Alan Moulder's mix is great. Quite dry in spots which is not atypical of his normal style. Plenty of lushness as well though.

Very cool work.
