For Jen

It's amazing and beautiful... the biggest eye opening experience of your life. Puts everything right into perspective... all the ego driven dreams become so trivial.

On the other hand... it can be the most mentally exhausting thing that you'll ever go through. From the minute they are awake till the time they are asleep (if you're lucky)... it never stops.

My uncle used to say that raising a child is like driving really fast down the freeway. If you take your eyes off the road and your hands off the wheel for even a second... the results can be devastating. The catch is that the drive is for life... it doesn't end at 18!

My hats go off to any rock n' roll parent with a full time job.
