I have to agree with Yoda that TotalRock is a long way from being all Nu-Metal. Since I've got broadband I've been able to listen to a lot more than just Malcolm Dome's Show and have been pleasantly surprised by the variety on offer during all the daytime shows.
Can't bear the breakfast show - its a bit too anarchic for an old fart like me, but Sarah Miles show is good and though matt and Krusher's tastes aren't too much aligned with my own they turned out to be way more interesting than I'd expected .. just dont try to get a Kiss request played on Krusher's show - LOL!
Weekday evenings either I'm at the gym or watching footie in the pub, so can't really comment on the evening shows, though I do listen to maria's show when I can. Sleazy H's show plays loads of classic stuff and on a Friday night 3 glorious hours of Power Metal and Hard Rock with Charlie Andrews, followed by another great 3 hrs from Zed. On a Saturday, there's a chance to hear something classic on the twisted Sisterz (not much I'd agree), the classic Rock & Metal Hammer show (generally a poor excuse for classic rock IMHO), Malcolm's show, Badger and then Pandora. Not much to grab me on a sunday, save for the Goth show and then Pandora, but that still makes up a hefty proportion of the Stations output.
Maybe if TR gets a FM licence and expands further it could break into 2 channels - a Classic Station and a more Current Station - a la Capital Radio etc, but first lets help it get a licence so that the whole country has a chance to listen to it!
