tarkovsky's THE SACRIFICE
agonizingly slow, but with amazing cinematography and an abstract plot. the photography of the Finnish countryside is just stunning, as are the interior shots and fucked up dream sequences. I still have absolutely no clue what it's really 'about', but I think I liked it. there's probably thousands of layers of symbolizism that I won't ever uncover. I guess I'll watch the included documentary later this week.
