FOREIGNER COMPILATION DUE & CHARITY SHOW ANNOUNCED:
Official album news from Foreigner: "Rhino Records will release a 2-CD set entitled No End In Sight: The Very Best Of Foreigner to coincide with the beginning of Foreigner's summer shows with Bryan Adams. While most of the tracks will be the original recordings of the songs that made the charts over the period from 1977 to 1995, there will also be new material from the current band including the newly recorded song Too Late and the acoustic version of Say You Will."
A recent Billboard article also quotes Mick Jones as saying that "there are also still plans afoot for an all-new Foreigner album, hopefully sooner than later.", and adding "There's a long-range plan now that we really do have a great lineup of the band again. It's very exciting. Everyone's committed to the long-haul here."

That is cool. I dig some of the classic rock, and Foreigner is one of my faves of that style. "Juke Box Hero" is a true classic and Lou Gramm never really received the kudos he deserved as a vocalist. He has a nice voice (if it is still holding up.) I would pay to go see those guys.

whats the track listing? :erk:

btw lou gramm hasn't been the singer for foreigner for about 10 years

I saw Foreigner with Lou Gramm in 1999. That may have been his last tour with them...

I was floored that they actually broke out Starrider that night. I don't think I'd bother seeing them with a different vocalist.

I saw them live back in 1993 with Gramm singing. Was the best concert I ever seen up to that point. "Hot Blooded" kicks so much ass live. Pissed off I missed them last year with Bonham, Pilson and Hansen. Would have rocked so hard.

Anyone checked out the new Foreigner DVD? It's awesome. Recorded in Germany at the Bang Your Head festival last year, there are no ballads here (except maybe Cold as Ice). It's a short concert, only 9 songs, but the sound and video are excellent. Mick Jones may be the only original member, but he has a great band backing him up including the aforementioned Kelly Hansen, with Jeff Pilson (Dokken) on bass and Jason Bonham on drums. And yes, they play Starrider!

Ha! That was the first thing I did after watching that DVD the first time...I went to their site and looked up their current schedule to see if they were playing a casino near me! No luck though, all the casino dates were in Wisconsin or Michigan or some state up that direction.

They are working on a new album with the current line-up I just can't wait to hear that... I'm sure they'll be on the road soon...
