Former Annihilator frontman/co-founder John Bates – who can be heard on the band’s legendary Welcome To Your Death demo – has spent the last 25 years serving up his own brand of psychobilly, garage rock, punk-blues and Americana, releasing music under the monikers Bates Motel, Big John Bates & The Voodoo Dollz, and Big John Bates: Noirchestra. He will be hitting the road in Europe this month in celebration of his 25th Anniversary.
In anticipation of the tour, Bates has released a new EP, Scarlet Racer. It is available here. Check out the official video for “Scarlet Letter” below.
