Steve “Zetro” Souza, former vocalist for thrash legends Exodus, will be celebrating the 20th anniversary of the band’s Tempo Of The Damned album on a Latin American tour, launching on September 4 in San José, Costa Rica and wrapping up on September 14 in São Paulo, Brazil. He’ll also be performing classics from Testament (Zetro sang for early Testament incarnation, Legacy), Hatriot, and AC/DC.
Zetro recently revealed the musicians who will support him as his backing band on the tour: Zakk Frye (Slikk Wikked) on rhythm guitar/backup vocals, Kyle Smith (Slikk Wikked) on lead guitar, Paul “MX” Marsciano (Nasty Trast, Joey Belladonna) on drums, and Donny “Death” Weissinger (Nasty Trast, Hate Grenade) on bass.
Tour dates are listed on the poster below:
A message from Zetro states: “Well everyone, this is a go!!!! My first venture as a solo artist. And what a better place to do it, South America! I’ve been going to South America for many many years. You guys have always been the best crowds in the world!! Looking forward to seeing everyone in the crowd at these shows! I will be playing songs that you have never heard me sing live! I will be playing, obviously Exodus songs, Testament/Legacy songs, Hatriot songs, and I’m even gonna throw a few AC/DC songs in there! I have a great band from Rochester, New York that will be backing me up there known on their own right as slick, wicked, hope to see everybody in the pit for my very first solo venture to all the great heavy metal fans in South America. See you in September!”
