Fortress Under Siege - Greek progpower

Really like the guitar and bass playing in this band. Both are really fluid and excellently composed. The vocals are solid as well for a Greek band. The production is also very clean. I think this album is really worth checking out for progpower junkies.

Fortress Under Seige is a Greek band that released an EP in 1996 ......it was self-titled.

I believe the band was originally called "Fortress" although I could be mistaken.......

Anyway --- if this is the same band ( and I believe it is ) this is 15 years later.... wow !!!!!!

Wowsers these guys are still around? A friend who knew I was into prog metal lent me their EP back in the 90's. I remember they were fairly technical and the cover art was terrible lol. This new one was pretty cool. I hear the Vauxdvihl reference too.

The reunited back in 2009 and they released their debut full album "The Mortal Flesh Of Love" on July 1st, 2011.
