Fozzy frontman Chris Jericho recently spoke with Eddie Trunk on SiriusXM’s Trunk Nation. During the conversation, he talked about releasing new music with Fozzy and upcoming live shows with his side project, Kuarantine.

Check out the excerpts below.

Chris Jericho on releasing new music with Fozzy (audio here):

“We actually kind of changed the way we do things because our last record, Boombox, we made that during the pandemic and it took a while because obviously everything got shut down. So we worked on those songs for two years, and when you put a record out, every band should feel this way: every song is a single. And we really loved all the material on that record. The problem is three of the songs were released as singles. They all went Top 10, which was great. You play three more of them live, and the other six just kind of disappear into the ether. They go into the elephant burial ground and I was like, ‘I’m sick of this happening.’ I’m sure every band feels this way. So what we did with ‘Spotlight’, the last song, and ‘Fall in Line’ is we’re just basically releasing singles and we want to sort release them more frequently, maybe every six months. And that will take the place of a record of just doing a song at a time. That way each song gets it’s due on a live front and gets it’s due on a streaming front and on a radio front because it’s still so important to be on rock radio and to be, you know, to be on satellite radio and get those streams in. So we’re focusing on one song at a time for right now.”

Chris Jericho on upcoming Kuarantine live shows (audio here):

“We do have some coming up actually. We’re actually just about ready to announce them. I think I just saw a poster: May 30th, the St. Croix Casino in Wisconsin, May 31st Crusherfest in Milwaukee. That’s a street festival, so we’ll be rocking that July 4th in Fairborn, Ohio, and July 5th in Lakewood, Ohio. So we put together runs when we can because our drummer Kent, he drums for Luke Bryan, and he’s always busy. Obviously I’m very busy, PJ’s always working with, you know, being a working musician. And Charlie and Joe also have their own gig. So we play when we can. And it’s a good time, man. It really is because with Fozzy we’re touring in a bus and we’ve got the trailer and all that sort of thing. When you go with Kuarantine, PJ rents the ‘Dadillac’, as he calls it, and we just drive, get in the van and drive from town to town, old school. So it’s fun that way, too.”

SiriusXM’s Trunk Nation, hosted by Eddie Trunk, airs daily at 3pm ET on SiriusXM’s Faction Talk.

On the day they kick off their 2025th Anniversary Tour, Fozzy, rock’s loudest champions of DIY, release a brand new riff-driven sonic sledgehammer, “Fall In Line”. Available now on all major streaming platforms via Madison Records, the track is a no-holds-barred defiant roar from the front lines of rock ‘n’ roll.

Fueled by razor-sharp guitars, thunderous drums, and Chris Jericho’s signature powerhouse vocals, “Fall In Line” is pure fire — a hard-hitting anthem that dares listeners to stand up, speak out, and never Fall in Line.

“‘Fall In Line’ is the most exciting and unique song Fozzy has recorded for so many reasons. It has the familiar Fozzy sound that’s been our trademark for 25 years, yet sounds nothing like anything we’ve ever done. We feel its gonna be a MASSIVE addition to our catalog, and are stoked to unleash this tune to the world AND play it live on our tour!” – Chris Jericho

Fozzy hits the road on a cross country journey to 20 of the nations most epic venues, as the tour is guaranteed to bring electrifying live performances for fans in every city. For dates, tickets, VIP, or more information, head to Fozzyrock.com.

Featuring Superstar showman Chris Jericho on vocals tagging with the iconic signature riffs of maven guitarist Rich Ward, Fozzy is set to launch the next phase of their 25th Anniversary tour with guitarist Billy Grey, bassist P.J. Farley, and drummer Grant Brooks rounding out the band.
