FRANK ZAPPA appreciation thread

Have heard/owned a bunch of late 60s early 70s stuff at one point or another.
Cool stuff.
Humorous, jazzy, psychedelic, rockin.
Sometimes all at once.
A lot of old school metalheads have some Zappa somewhere.

I almost met Frank Zappa at Music for nations when they signed his catolog for european distrobution. I was so pissed It was truly the most regretable event inmy musical career. I will howere add this..
Paul McCartney once said "The only guy that can play more instruments than me is Frank Zappa and should be able to because he is a genius".
Zootalures, the tourture never stops.. but Zappa will live on forever..

He had some brilliant arrangements...and the most off color, outrageous, hilarious shit! The arrangement for "Wet Tshirt Contest" is one of my all time favorites. Joe's Garage parts 2 & 3 cover some really wild and funny topics...appliance love...man, that's great stuff!

Zappa rules. his series of You Can't Do That On Stage Anymore live double-albums are all pure gold
