SSL has no plans to release a stand alone universal binary version of the LMC-1 plug-in.

LMC-1 is however available in a more featured form as one of the 5 processing elements in the SSL Drumstrip plug-in for Duende. We have taken the essence of LMC-1, added a wet/dry control and an option to bypass the EQ feature which provides full bandwidth sonic performance.

I don't really need to register at the SSL site for anything, kinda lame.

The URS has a "listen mic" preset which does the same kind of thing, so its not a huge deal. I'm really thinking about going for a PCIe Duende now, what with the price drop of the unit itself and the addition plugs becoming cheaper.
