FREE TRANSIENT DESIGNER BY SPL GET IT

Quote from the SPL site:

We celebrate one year of Analog Code and give away one Attacker per computer. The Attacker is based upon the famous Transient Designer and provides its more attack function.

The Attacker give away promotion is running from October 15 to November 15, 2009. Click here and download one unlimited full version per computer.

I downloaded this too, but cant figure out this activation thing. I was told it doesn't work with iLok activations and you have to do the challenge/response thing... which baffles me because I can't figure out how to do it!!! BLARRRG!!

1. Download the SPL Attacker from our download page.
2. Install the plug-in, then click “Authorize” to generate a challenge code (please uncheck “Use my iLok smart key” first or the challenge code will be invalid!!).
3. Enter your challenge code together with your e-mail address. You will receive a matching response code via e-mail.

So, you have to copy the challenge, send it by e-mail, and you get your response, which is the authorization code.

"Your challenge code is being processed. This may take up to ten minutes. Please check your e-mails for the confirmation subsequently."

Just have to wait for the mail now!

From the FAQ:

Why don't I get a Challenge/Response (C/R) code panel after installation?
Some host programs directly start the Attacker in demo mode and only display the C/R dialog boxes later (the next day or after the demo period of 14 days). Solution: Run the Attacker in demo mode and wait until an authorization request pops up again (either the next day or after the end of demo period).

Got my response, working now!

No iLok required but the authorisation process is a massive pain in the arse. You need to install the iLok driver even if you don't have an iLok.

Sounds pretty good though! Nice for getting extra punch from tom tracks without boosting background bleed.
