Fresh tubed recto!

Just got done retubing my 2 channel Dual Trem-O-Verb decided to do some reamps with it to put it through it's paces.

Tubes I just put in it are

4 quad matched 6l6's
TAD RT010 12ax7 in v1
4- JJ 12ax7 in v2-v5
Sovtek 12ax7 LPS in the phase inverter

Used some classics from the forum for these tone test's

Also my chain was

421+57 combo through my FF800 mic pres. Oversized recto 4x12 into my Mesa with a fulltone OCD in the front.

all the tones are a 100% raw no processing at all.

Cool. Do you use tube rectifier mode ?
I find my triple sounds dull until a certain master volume then it jumps to life.
Unfortunately, the point at which this happens, is extremely loud.

I almost never use the tube rectifier mode. And keep it on silicon diodes most of the time. But with the JJ 5u4gb I threw in it. The tube rectifier mode is a lot punchier and not nearly as saggy sounding.
