Friday, July 9th: Lame night for chupe.

Tonight's summary, 11pm-2:14am:

1) drank Cherry Chocolate Ale from local brewery.
2) listened to Entombed's Uprising for first time in a year.
3) dug through mp3s of microphones to decide which to buy (Studio Projects B1, Studio Projects C1, Marshall MXL V67G, etc.).
4) frozen pizza.
5) no sex.
6) no tv.
7) 3 dogs staring at me blankly.
8) no one to talk to on AIM.
9) nothing cool to download illegally.
10) VST Plugins are cool, but they don't work in ProTools Free.
11) ran out of beer.
12) cheap port stinks.
13) 2:10am and not tired.
14) Entombed still rules. wonder: are the newer albums as good?
15) Death Angel? at Metalfest?
16) 2:14am and still not tired.

Hmm, our friday nights were similar in terms of suckness.

1) Drank Cherry Coke from local deli.
2) Listened to Kansas, PM Dawn and Ahumado Granujo.
3) Dug through old boxes trying to find some old rubber WWF wrestler toys.
4) Cold chicken
5) no sex(this I'm completely used to)
6) Octopus program on tv
7) all alone
8) Everyone is sleeping
9) Told to download stuff by a band called eighteen visions...it is lame.
10) bought some new speakers but they are worse then my old ones, back to headphones.
11) ran out of carbonated soft drinks.
12) Tres Leches ice cream is good
13) 5:03am and not tired
14) Ahumado Granujo rules, "Cunt Slime" is the best track on this album.
15) I'm in the mood to hear some slack key guitar.
16) 5:05am and I'm still not tired.

Wasn't very exciting either:

1) 1 Guiness and one Half and Half from local Irish pub
2) Did not listen to anything really that interesting
3) Went a stroll at the Jazz fest to only listen to an acoustid House band, an afro-cuban band, an irish folk jam band and finally a afro-cuban-hip-hop affair.
4) couple of bagels
5) no sex used to it
6) no tv.
7) internet porn
8) no one to talk to on AIM/messenger

I just went and saw Spiderman 2 and it was awesome.
maybe now since the wife's away I can go see the five obstructions as well (she'd never agree to see it)

friday was also lame for me

1) hang around house until 9:45 before heading to see The Album Leaf
2) Get to club; not only is opening band not playing, but The Album Leaf is still sound checking
3) order, then drink High Life
4) go outside and smoke
5) opening band starts... horible. they opened with a Pedro The Lion cover.
6) 11:20; second band hasn't started. leave to go home
7) thankful i didn't pay for show
8) get home, wife asleep, no sex
9) go to sleep at 11:45

01. Wake up at 10:00 am due to having been out until 1 am trying to fix "perfectly running car" fiancee got.
02. Get call from car's former owner telling us to head over there and call AAA.
03. Go to car. Call AAA.
04. Get told AAA can only tow car for people whose names are on the membership.
05. Call owner. Get told that's not company policy. Asked to hold while she calls company.
06. Get name put on AAA membership after waiting 30 minutes. Call AAA.
07. Get told secondary names on AAA accounts only get 3 miles of towing. Call owner.
08. Get told to hold while she calls AAA. Call AAA 30 minutes later.
09. Informed that whoever told owner everything was all set lied. Call owner.
10. Owner tells us to hold and calls AAA. Fiancee is given AAA membership. Call AAA.
11. Informed that membership is invalid until the card arrives. Call owner.
12. Owner agrees to come down. Call AAA.
13. Since owner is 15 minutes away, AAA agrees to send truck. Truck arrives and driver sits around while we wait for owner. Owner calls.
14. Owner says she called AAA and hasn't left yet. Driver agrees to tow car.

saturday looked up a bit here. aside from the sitting in David's Bridal looking at wedding invitations while 3 women tried on bridesmaid dresses part.

- picked out wedding band. plain gold, relatively inexpensive.
- watched as fiancee fretted over many, many decisions- a very, very commonplace occurence of late.
- went to dinner at italian eatery, ate way too much
- saw dodge ball. rip torn & the training sequence = HA-larious.

I am not sure I breathed for the 2-3 minutes of that sequence. I just couldn't stop laughing.

I am having ring difficulties. Everyone's telling me that the wedding ring goes on the left hand since you need the right to write with. But I'm left handed so...
