Can u deliver Rob Zombie, I hear he does.

And today is Fri 13th and its time for the march of the Saint and the reign of fire! Some Death Angel - Thrashers with Voracious Souls:kickass: better start drinking :headbang: I hear this tour is kicking ass everywhere!

What a fucking amazing gig.

Alarum, one of Australia's best metal bands, ripped through an awesome opening set. Good sound, and their new song sounded great. Probably the best performance I have seen from them, despite lasting a ridiculous 20 minutes. 8/10

Armored Saint tore it a new one. Awesome performance, and even though I was only familiar with half the set I loved nearly every minute of it. Cheers for getting me a copy of Symbol of Salvation Gore, I would have been pissed if I watched them without doing some ground work first. Great band. 8/10

Death Angel. Fucking hell. This was one of the best performances I have ever seen. In my top few gigs for sure. Despite being too damn loud (my ears are still ringing 48 hours later), these guys were off the fucking hook. The crowd were insane, it was like 1986 and thrash was king. You could tell the guys were blown away by the reaction they recieved, and were just feeding from it to give such an amazing performance. Thrown To The Wolves, Sonic Beatdown and Kill As One rate up there with some of the best gig moments of my life. 10/10

Trivia note: today I listened to my first Armored Saint album. I love leaving things too late. I never heard Sepultura until just before Max left, and didn't hear Jeff Buckley's "Grace" until the week before his last tour. "I'll see him next time," I thought.

Wow, that was a great night. Could only of been better if I didnt have to bail straight after the bands. Thrashed it up for Death Angel, either they impressed me mightily or i was just mighty drunk!

An out of the club highlight was jamming in some Forbidden - forbidden evil - in the carpark between the bands. Inside the venue Armored Saint's encore with Can u Deliver was ace as was opening with Reign and following it up with March. For Death Angel, Voracious Souls & Kill As One were highlights and Seeming Endless Time came off well live, I never liked that song much when it was first released.
