Kinda neat. So the low-down is the owner use to work for NASA. The tubes they use apparently have never been used in guitar amplifiers ever before, and supposedly are the same/similar to ones used in MIG fighters (for what, I have no idea). The Forza is the one he is getting, shit looks insane:

The lighting in the headshell my friend says changes depending on the attack of your playing. And the amp has an output that you can connect to stage lights to change based on your attack as well. :loco:

These are all Class A amplifiers being made. They currently have 3 models, 2 50-watters and the one pictured above is a 100w amp. All of them are hand built in Cali, USA as well - i.e. expen$ive. No idea how they sound, but they look kewl.

from my friend: The tubes are surprisingly easy to get ahold of. An advantage with them, though, is they are a lot better quality than the ones we are all used to using in our amps. These are actually used in current military applications and are made to their spec, really good quality stuff. The amp also has an auto-self-bias feature that is being used the entire time the amp is on. Not only does it make sure the tubes are running their best every time you change the EQ and volume knobs, this coupled with their higher quality will give you something like 3-5x more tube life than the standard amplifier tubes.

Anything can look cool, I wanna know how it sounds haha.

anything can look cool, I mean lasse's snakeskin amp looks cool, but this is another level.

This is RIDICULOUSLY COOL.

I mean, the lights respond to the attack of your picking, and you can connect them to the house lighting and the whole house lights will respond to your attack? and tubes used in fucking military airplanes?

If that isn't ridiculously pathetically epic awesomeness I don't know what is

wow, they actually had a video on their site with a guy playing a 7 string on that little amp. I think it has potential, just sounds super muffled to me

Fuck i would buy this even if it sounded shite its still a cool centerpiece to zone out and stare at, it looks like its wrapped in a carbon fiber vinyl type shit? or is actually made out of carbonfiber?

Sounds like pretty much any other high gain amp with stock IBZ pickups and the gain at 12 o clock. I'm sure with EMGs and a TS this thing can go very articulate. Nice voicing to it regardless.

 @ Burny :D And if the 100 watt one seriously is Class A, that must be deafening!

This was my thought exactly. As for the amp itself who knows. It is cool looking in a very Las Vegas strip sort of way. A little too neon for my tastes. I also can't help but feel like the owner or whatever he is, is handing out a whole lot of marketing speak in that video they did for the LA Amp Show with Premier Guitar. I was waiting for him to tell me they were radio active and lead lined for my protection. :hotjump:

you're only thinking that because you didn't know that the pilot light on the rec is purple!!!

I guess the whole pick-attack-changes-light thing won't really work if the amp is boosted with a TS...
Class A? this is metal, don't need no class A! ;)

looking forward to some clips

It's an 8-string Ibanez, but check the settings, everything is at 12 o'clock. That might be the cause of the sucky tone:
