I commend him for doing this. He gave up alot because of how 9/11 affected him. He wants to make a diffence and I hope he makes his ranks up to the FBI/CIA someday. I believe that is where he wants to get to if I remember right. Cheers to Matt Barlow...I hope he is happy and content in his life right now.

i just got into iced earth recantly and his stuff is my favorite so far ,so it really sucks he left ...but i respect the guy for his decision to make a differance in the world. Its usually the other way around where people do anything to be in his position as frontman of a professional rock band and im sure a lot of fans would give their right nut to be in his position..but the guy just doesnt see it as an important gig in the great scheme of things.
