From The Start...............Dogs Of War(i think)

The tittle track is a Saxon Classic.But what about the rest of the album.Was this the turning point for Saxon?

I still can't make up my mind about this album!

Dog Of War', 'Burning Wheels', 'Hold On', and 'Great White Buffalo' are great tracks, and stand out straight away. The rest took time to grow on me. It seems to depend on what kind of a mood I'm in to how much I enjoy this album.

What I can't understand about this album is, Graham Oliver is listed as playing on it on the original release. But according to Biffs notes on the re-release, Grahams guitar parts were wiped and done again by Doug. But I always thought 'Unleash The Beast' was Dougs first Saxon album.

Talking of 'Unleash The Beast', now there is your turning point!

I got this not long before i met my wife in 1996, so i have great memories of this one, great songs, production and artwork...One of my favourites actually!
