Basically, guy hit me up on my CL posting, said hey where/when do you want to meet, wants to get the iPod for his sister for her birthday. So I show up at the place, he shows up and brought a friend. So he's checking out the iPod, and then he starts acting a little funny, his friend too. So, thinking to myself "I need to get the iPod back into my hands," I say to the guy "oh so here let me show you something else on it" and when I went to grab it he pulled away and then they both went to take off. I grabbed the guy with the iPod by the shirt and yanked him down while the other guy kept bolting. He was trying to knock me down or trip me or something, then he tried to get up and get away, I still had his shirt in a death grip and I was yelling to people outside the restaurant we met at to call the cops. I punched him in the kidneys a couple of times and he turned around to try and throw a punch, missed, I landed a couple right to the face he just fell and kinda gave up. Two dudes ran out and helped hold him down while the cops came. Cops arrested the dude, took my statement, bla.
Thing is, I have a handgun and I decided last minute before leaving the house to not take it with me. To be honest, I don't think I'll be arranging any more CL meetings without it.
