why would you buy a guitar without a neck pickup!?!?! If it had one, I would buy this now.....

(i have never understood buying a guitar without a neck pickup)

Some people don't play leads or clean sections, in which case a neck pickup isn't really needed. Or they get every sound they need out of the bridge pickup. It's not rocket science to understand.

For anyone that's never played one of these and is on the fence about buying it, let me just say these are absolutely fucking sick for both lead and rhythm playing and they are supremely well crafted instruments.
You can always put a neck pickup in them as well, it's been done before and it can look quite awesome :)

Sick guitar mate! If it was the silverburst one, I'd be sending you money right now... Good luck with the sale :)

Dude 3 weeks ? , what guitar do want to buy? my cow play and sound so great that i want a second one.....

i've been playing 7 strings for about 4 years now, and in that time I've only owned 4. Mainly Ibanez, then the other week I just got so fuckin bored of my RG7620 that I sold it and stupidly bought this COW model. I knew I was sacrificing some playability in order to get a better tone, but I didn't realise quite how much I relied on things like a neck pickup and a floyd rose trem. I love the TOM bridge, it's really comfortable, but I'm a trem guy, and should never have bought a guitar without one!

I have a potential deal set up with someone to buy their ESP MH307, I'm just looking to see what's out there really, something different to what I'm used to, but still with the same features.

Id love to be able to help you out dude but im many months away from having any where near that kinda cash atm =[
