How different is it from the regular Dual Rectifier ?
4 channels with seperate eq controls, reverb control, rectifier (tube/SS), assignable FX loops, and channel assignable cabinets (cleans through an open back, dirty through closed, etc).
The biggest advantage, though, is the selectable powertube section. You can have 2x6L6, 2xEL34, 2xEL34 and 2x6L6, 4x6L6, or 4x6L6 and 2xEL34.
It offers loads of versatility... you can basically set your amp up for a clean channel with lots of 6L6 headroom, a british crunch with EL34's, a huge, american Recto 6L6 modern tone (standard dual), and a nice, fluid lead tone with EL34's.
I'd get one, if they weren't so fucking expensive, heavy, or had the reliability horror stories I've heard.
