FS: Schecter C-1 30th Anniversary

For a second I thought it was Nebulous selling his. Best of luck with the sale, it's a damn sexy lookin guitar.

FUCK NO! Haha. That would be the last thing I sell.

If anyone is interested in this guitar, as Ermz pointed out I have one too and can genuinely say that it is one of the finest instruments I have ever played and easily the nicest guitar (feel and look) that Schecter have made.

A great purchase IMO. A shame that Morgray has to get rid of it.

Dude, a small file should be able to get the job done. I'd buy one to bore out the hole and one to polish it out, but you shouldn't have to sell a guitar because of a tuner peg.

Unless you could just really use the cash instead of the guitar and that was the motivation haha.

Well they're locking tuners and I'm afraid I'm going to break the locking post if I try doing that. Also the nut slot would need to be filed wider. I'm sort've afraid to attempt all this stuff and I can't afford to be spending money for other people to do it for me right now

If you fully unscrew the locking post (as in, pull the thing out) , you won't touch it when you start filing. Also, if you wrap a high grit (fine) piece of sandpaper around the string and use that to widen the nut, you should be fine.

I just hate to see a guy sell a gorgeous guitar like that because he can't get it setup to his liking without dropping some more cash on it!

hmm...youre right the post came right out...you're making me reconsider. I dont have a file to do this with though, what would you recommend getting to get the job done?

Oh and when you say fine sandpaper around what grit are we talking about? some people mean 400 when they say fine others mean 1200 :)

i mean like 160+, for fine grit.

If you can find any files thin enough to go through, they should also be fine enough to do what you need to. The big thing is to avoid burs at the end, which isn't as big an issue due to the nature of locking tuners, and can also be fixed with some sandpaper and not necessarily a file.

Seriously man, Jeff is 100% correct dude. Just file it out yourself with sandpaper over a string, only thing just makes sure it's smooth so use a fine grit paper at the end once you get the size you need. Don't get rid of this guitar just because of that!

It seems the bridge is a 13mm...very good. It allows you to have a wide intonation range if you'll tune low. I'm planning to change my bridge with one of those
