so many of you already have FST. time to start a new ''favourites'' discussion!

-favourite song
-favourite riff
-favourite solo
-favourite moment (so not a particular instrument, but a part in a song)

so for me:

- difficult. but of course In Memoriam. also Descent into Madness and In Dreams of Terror
- no surprise: IN DREAMS OF TERROR
- Xaraya, In Dreams of Terror, In Memoriam, Long Live New Flesh (all of them)
- the part in Xaraya ''for this world, i never wanted, for this world i never asked, blablablabla i am DEEE-HUUUU-MAA-NIIIIZED! BAMBAMBAM!''

-Five Serpent's Teeth
-Intro to Origin of Oblivion
-Five Serpent's Teeth
-Vocal breaks on Origin of Oblivion

Not sure about most of them but my favourite moment is the vocal break in "In Memoriam"

It tears me up almost as effectively as the execution in The Green Mile, the harmonies are just so extraordinarily beautiful!

-In Dreams of Terror
-In Dreams of Terror
-In Dreams of Terror
-"AM I HEARING THE VOICE OF REASON?"

wait... besides that? ok...

-Probably either FST, OoO, or InMem.
-Most everything in OoO, the solo riff for Xaraya and the horribly catchy Cult riff...
-Five Serpent's Teeth. In Memoriam too.
-"Meet my foes with sword and shield, FEAR MY ETERNAL, ETERNAL NAAAAAAAAAAAME" *whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaoooowww whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaww wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeow whiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiooowww*, the Russian Roulette riff in LLtNF was pretty cool first time I heard it, many MANY others...

-Origin Of Oblivion, Xaraya, Five Serpent's Teeth
-Centurion, Cult
-Five Serpent's Teeth (jeezus christ!), In Dreams Of Terror, Eternal Empire
-2:30 to end of In Memoriam, Solo to end of Centurion, Middle Riff to end of Five Serpent's Teeth, solos to 3:08 of Long Live New Flesh

Having just moved house I have been away from the internet and haven't had time to listen to it as much as may be expected. Think I've played it 5 or 6 times through though... My favourite song is Origin of Oblivion. Everything about it is sheer brilliance. I also like Centruion a whole lot, and the second half of Xaraya with all the harmonies is pretty stunning. Too many good solos to pick one particular one out, great work on every song. To be honest I'd kind of expected more from In Memoriam what with all the chat about it. It's a decent but fairly unremarkable metal ballad to my ears. The fast stuff is really doing it for me though!

-In Dreams of Terror
-The riff on Long Live The New Flesh from 3:30 onwards
-Descent Into Madness
-The big vocal harmony on In Memoriam, that part is beautiful

- Centurion
- In dreams of terror and Descent into madness main riffs
- FST, eternal empire
- In memorian chorus

Favorite song : Fuck.... Uuumm.... I think I'd have to say In Dreams of Terror.
Favorite Riff : FUCK.... Uuumm.... The main riff for Five Serpent's Teeth, the main riff for In Dreams of Terror, the main riff for Descent into Madness.... THERE'S TOO MANY.
Favorite solo : Guitar - In Dreams of Terror, Bass - Descent into Madness (Near the end, I think it's a bass anyway)
Favorite moment : When the main riff of the title track kicks in and says "Hey, I'm badass.", the big harmony part of In Memoriam, the sped up part of the title track, the bass solo for Descent into Madness.... I can't pick man.

Dunno about you guys but I absolutely love it in FST when the band pauses as Matt sings 'One by one!', and then they launch back into the song.

really difficult to make a decision after only 1 or 2 listenings, for me it's really complex but my definitly favorites are In Dreams of Terror, Centurion, In Memoriam, Cult and Eternal Empire. There are everywhere great riffs and also good soli.

Maybe Spidey can help me.
