Fugazi's "In On The Kill Taker" is way more amazing than I remembered

There's a crazy scratchy telephone-voice backup vocal buried waaay back in the mix of "Smallpox Champion" that I never noticed before. Amazing. Have I never listened to this on decent headphones before?!? WTH.

Unfortunatly not part of my musical education, another band to check out (everything I do these days seems to check out older stuff that I should have checked out long ago. The tribulations of the ignorant metal fan growing up...)

I totally put this on after I read this thread
I'm not sure why, but that made me extremely happy.

And to the rest of you: you should go buy a Fugazi album. Preferably one of these:

Repeater
In On the Kill Taker
13 Songs

Steady Diet of Nothing is also good, and then Red Medicine, End Hits, and The Argument are not as crucially ultimately vital as the above (but still pretty awesome, I think people overlook how high a baseline Fugazi sets and consider an album "terrible" cause it doesn't live up to their esteem for 13 Songs or whatever...)

I must say that I am heartily enjoying this band as well though the only album I have is Red Medicine as my old Latin Teacher not only told me it was one of their best but an essential of any record collection.
