OK, I am going to be really girly again and post a little game for us. Actually it's a poll. Only one important thing: be honest!

1. What was your first live concert?

2. Have you ever sported a mullet? (Do you now?)

3. What's the cringiest (yes, that is definitely a word :p ) concert or movie that your significant other forced you to go see?

4. If you were in the car, listening to the radio (and no saying that you wouldn't listen to the radio - assume someone is forcing you with a knife to your throat) and, of course, there's a very limited selection to choose from - in fact only three options.... do you leave the dial on:
a) Bruce Springsteen
b) Eminem
c) Barbra Streisand

1. What was your first live concert?

KISS the Revenge Tour

2. Have you ever sported a mullet? (Do you now?)

Yes I use to but I do not now :)

3. What's the cringiest (yes, that is definitely a word :p ) concert or movie that your significant other forced you to go see?

Titanic more than once :erk:

4. If you were in the car, listening to the radio (and no saying that you wouldn't listen to the radio - assume someone is forcing you with a knife to your throat) and, of course, there's a very limited selection to choose from - in fact only three options.... do you leave the dial on:

Depends on my mood

a) Bruce Springsteen - If I only wanted to listen to stuff with guitars
b) Eminem - If I wanted some bass and something a little more Hardcore
c) Barbra Streisand - Here let me help you plunge that knife in further

1. What was your first live concert?
1989 - Testament, Annihilator, and Wrathchild America at the Royal Oak Music Theatre in Royal Oak, MI. Amazing show.
2. Have you ever sported a mullet? (Do you now?)
Technically... maybe. :) I think when you have a 'normal' haircut, and you start to grow your hair long, a brief mullet is inevitable. In high school I probably briefly had what would be considered a mullet, but I distinctly remembering anxiously waiting for my bangs to get long enough where I could cut the back to make it the same length all the way around. Nowadays... it's a number 3 shaver all the way around every couple months...
3. What's the cringiest (yes, that is definitely a word ) concert or movie that your significant other forced you to go see?
I once got dragged to Stop Or My Mom Will Shoot with Sylvester Stallone and Estelle Geddy, that probably wins. I remember my girlfriend at the time thought Estelle Geddy was cute. Ah, the things we do for tail...
4. If you were in the car, listening to the radio (and no saying that you wouldn't listen to the radio - assume someone is forcing you with a knife to your throat) and, of course, there's a very limited selection to choose from - in fact only three options.... do you leave the dial on: a) Bruce Springsteen b) Eminem c) Barbra Streisand
Easy... the Boss.

1. What was your first live concert?

aerosmith, around '93

2. Have you ever sported a mullet? (Do you now?)

no

3. What's the cringiest (yes, that is definitely a word :p ) concert or movie that your significant other forced you to go see?

in this case, it was with my dad (and no, my father is not my significant other. . .) -- sting in '94 or so (opener: natalie merchant); dad can be a puss!

4. If you were in the car, listening to the radio (and no saying that you wouldn't listen to the radio - assume someone is forcing you with a knife to your throat) and, of course, there's a very limited selection to choose from - in fact only three options.... do you leave the dial on:

b) Eminem
c) Barbra Streisand

springsteen, even though i hate his music almost as much as the others in that list

1. What was your first live concert?

Bon Jovi / Europe / Skid Row / Vixen - Milton Keynes Bowl, UK 1989

2. Have you ever sported a mullet? (Do you now?)

Only on the way to growing long hair to my shoulders. Waiting for the fringe (bangs) to grow out could be the ugliest a man could ever get. Oh well, at least I never drove a pick up truck and listened to The Allman Brothers....

3. What's the cringiest (yes, that is definitely a word :p ) concert or movie that your significant other forced you to go see?

It would probably be the other way round. I like the sappy stuff, heh. I'm the one who rented Say Anything, On Golden Pond, Sense and Sensibility, Out of Africa, Jerry MaGuire, Four Weddings and a Funeral, and The Way We Were.

4. If you were in the car, listening to the radio (and no saying that you wouldn't listen to the radio - assume someone is forcing you with a knife to your throat) and, of course, there's a very limited selection to choose from - in fact only three options.... do you leave the dial on:

Barbara Streisand. Shit, I'd turn the volume up. See answer #3. "Kiss me in the rain, make me feel like a child again..." *sniff*.

If Bruce friggin' Sprinsteen comes on, please plunge that knife into my ears.

*leaves* :D

But hey, check out answer #1 - Bon Jovi man! I mean, they are as much of a NJ institution as Bruce! That counts for something in my book. I don't need citizenship, just a green card, heh.

No way! I agree with the limey bastard... if Bruce Springsteen comes on, I'm looking for the closest ice pick to poke out my eardrums! :puke:

Oh, but who could not like any of those??

And besides, are you forgetting the time I tried to get you to watch Harold & Maude. You made me turn it off after about 20 mins!

Answering my own poll...

1. What was your first live concert?
Ooh, this is bad... Bryan Adams - it was because we got free tickets from another kid at school.

2. Have you ever sported a mullet? (Do you now?)
Oh yeah... and I'm a girl! I had a perm at the same time, so it was even one of those wavy-curly 80s mullets, but I was in junior high - I didn't know any better. (Preceeding the wavy mullet was possibly worse: short all around the sides, long on top and I would gel the top to go practically straight up, two lines shave out of each side, tail in back. :ill: )

3. What's the cringiest (yes, that is definitely a word :p ) concert or movie that your significant other forced you to go see?
Most of the time I like his picks, but he talked me into seeing Pitch Black at the cinema. It was awful and he fell asleep about 10 mins. into it. I sat there like a sucker watching the whole thing.

4. If you were in the car, listening to the radio (and no saying that you wouldn't listen to the radio - assume someone is forcing you with a knife to your throat) and, of course, there's a very limited selection to choose from - in fact only three options.... do you leave the dial on:

Never A! About 50/50 between B & C... depending on my mood.

Yeah but that's because it was shite, not cringeworthy. That Harold's got bug eyes, it was weirding me out.

Heheheheheehehehehe......

1. First concert: Metallica/Suicidal Tendencies/Candlebox/Fight in '93. Alice in Chains was supposed to be play but didn't. Candlebox was TERRIBLE, and I sorta liked those dudes back then.

2. I had a mullet from age 7 to 14, it rocked! The chicks liked it, but everyone I still talk to from back then makes fun of it now.

3. Worst concert: American Idol Live. :puke: My girlfriend dug that show and I came across some free tickets from work. Drank myself silly on the company dime that night, and I yelled through several songs. :kickass:

4. I'm not sure which one I would rather have shot, the Boss or Babs. Eminem I do not outright hate like those two, so I'm going for him.

What is wrong with Sting!?!? He is the MAN when it comes to bassists! Even more important than Paul McCartney! :loco:

Oh man....that could be a winner. Just watching that Clay fucking Aiken with the 'please be gentle' facial expressions makes me want to force a spoon into his jugular and drop him off at an LA prison for round-the-clock anal ramming.

Clay was better then Rubin. haha. Anyways im just gonna answer one of those questions. My first concert was Weird AL Yankovic, and it was amazing.

Seriously, I'll let it go after this, but you all need to hear either one of two albums by Springsteen, Nebraska or Darkness on the Edge of Town. He doesn't need to be shot, he needs to be lauded for two classic albums. :p

Okay you're right, my comment about the Boss was a bit harsh. I just don't enjoy what I have heard by him, but I'm willing to try anything in earnest. Babs can go to hell for all I care though. :D

Oh, and it was American Idol part I with Justin and Kelly. Horrid, except for Tamyra, who kicked ass. :)
