yes on both, but that's still totally fucked up.
spend two years working on something every day and then this happens. it's been worse before - they actually lost a full week's worth of work on me once and didn't have a recent backup.

It seems like all providers are the same. last time I upgraded my hosting they said they would take care of moving all of mysite to the new server and everything would be fine, then they proceeded to fucking everything up. I had to rebuild the damn thing from scratch. fortunatly I had recent backups...
