"If I am not mistaken, these speakers were different from the present-day Vintage 30 speakers, but I could be wrong. In my memory they sounded harsher, more trebly. I never liked these speakers in the combo format, but when I later put the speakers in a 4x12 cabinet with two G12T75 speakers, the results was a great sound with a lot of fat bottom end and enough bite to cut through the loudest band. "
see i read a few like that and also a few that said they are v30 just with marshall sticker on instead of celestions. Said it was just a diffrent sticker marshall put on it. Im wondering cause this marshall 1960av cab has these and i might get but i want cab with v30!
And there is no guessing as to whether or not this has actuall vintage 30s in it. Also it's rugged as fuck I flipped a car doing 70 2 times with this in the back all that happened was some ripped tolex. It is however the only good thing crate makes period
