malmsteen is fuckin awesome! although some of his new stuff is simply intolerable! But Vai,satch and malmsteen are the holy trinity of instrumental rock guitar! But about G3 one of my friend said that the acoustics were completely crappy and the show was disappointing due to lack of proper stage management.

I could go see it today in Denver CO, but its 37 dollars. not that its not worth it, its just i need to save up for my beast of an ENGL power amp. i would love to see Satch, Steve Vai, and Malmsteen all together in one place playing the best instrumental guitar there is, next to the grand masters themselves, Beethoven, Bach, Mozart, and Paganini. i bet you all 10 dollars that when all three of em come out to play together, malmsteen grabs the mic and screams at the top of his lungs, "YOU"VE UNLEASHED THE FOOKING FUUURY". that would make my day.

All i know is that G3 should be G5 and and Alexi Laiho and Roope Latvala should be the other two along with Steve, Joe, and Yngwie. That K3 whould be bad ass, maybe Pasi Hiltula from Kalmah/Eternal Tears of Sorrow could be #3 he aint Janne or Jens but he is good.

ok ok ok, i bought a ticket at the last minute and went to the G3'03. Yngwie smashed his guitar, and flung his picks all over the crowd. he played notable favorites such as Black star, Far Beyond the sun, and Blitzkreig. Steve vai was in the middle with some new shit and he played For the love of God. Satch was up next and opened with the satch boogie, and played a bunch of other bad ass songs. then all three of em got up there and belted out "Keep on Rockin in the free world" can you imagine yngwie playing that song. i think its funny. but yngwie tried to steal the show by kicking his leg out and throwing his guitar around his body. but satch and Vai are definatley worth going to it for.
