Gaming with stereoscopic glasses instead of split-screen.

NVIDIA already has a similar setup for PC, where you buy a special 120Hz monitor, glasses and bluetooth sync device that plugs into both the computer and monitor to emulate a 3d picture. Most games work with it and its been out for quite some time now. Interesting to see it come to console.

Yeah, but this is two separate images for two different people, not two separate images for both of the same person's eyes! Pretty clever use of 3D technology.

Exactly! This will be great for local multiplayer, something that I´ve been missing for a long time. Playing FPS co-op games like Army Of Two, Gears Of War and Left4Dead on split-screen is ok, but nothing compared to the fullscreen experience.

it could be used as both. Hell you could even increase the refresh rate to 240 and give a 3D view for each player...now how cool would that be?
