Just got this in the mail today! Wow! IMO their best since No World Order! Great songwriting and production. I got the box set which is kind of pricey but nice for fans.

It is a very solid album. Good return to form. I hated their last one.

Album as a whole is pretty much everything I've come to expect from Kai and company. Variety certainly isn't their thing, but they ARE consistent.

However.....

AVALON absolutely blew me away from the very first listen. This is easily the best song they have written since "Rebellion in Dreamland" and maybe (MAYBE) it's even better.

I absolutely LOVE this song, despite some obvious "borrowing" from other tunes. (Iron Maiden via Mob Rules intro, Iron Maiden bride, Queen's "Stone Cold Crazy" in the solo.....)
