I think the band were trying to develop away from the traditional 'Swedish' sound they were associated with even though they were of course Finnish (go figure)
Shame cos I thought Rock Hell worked well enough, some people couldn't take the over emphasised 'death' vocals though.
Their loss IMHO

Check out drummer Nalle's new Finnish supergroup Choasbreed, apparently rather good tho' I ain't heard it yet

I know rock hell was a different direction and a band finding their own sound is important. But I still hate Rock Hell.

I had a listen to Chaosbreed and wasn't too impressed, it's better than anything I could do, but it didn't have anything new to offer metal.
