Recently got an Alesis Nanoverb as trade for a rack case. Was being sold as in excellent condition and sure enough looked brand new. I figured I'd fire it up in preparation for a gig this weekend to see how it sounds. The thing isn't powering on- the power leds not lighting and there's no sign of life from the unit.
Tried cracking it open to see if there's a fuse I can change, no joy there. Looking to find another 9vac power supply to try powering it up with.
Anything else I can do to try fix it. My bet is the guy plugged the wrong power supply in at some stage, fried it and flogged it on. I've mailed him( nicely!) on the classifieds site to see if he says anything about it but I guess he'll say it worked fine when he gave it to me.
While these aren't expensive I'd obviosuly like to see it working even if it costs a little to send it back to alesis even. Reckon it'd be something a local technican would be able to sort?
