I'm in the market for "upgrading" our vocal reinforcement at band practice! Right now we are using an old school Peavey Bandit 112 100watt guitar amp.......which cannot keep up with drums and two halfstacks!
So I was looking for a cheap and easy solution, and was told to get one of those Active PA speakers w/ built in amp and mixer.
Behringer makes the B300 that is 15" speaker, 1.75" titanium Horn, EQ, Crossovers, Limters, and 300watts with XLR mic input mixer and daisy chainable for $299:Smug: I know people frown Behringer, but I've had decent luck with them for years.
But I found a deal here on a Gemini GX450

Pretty much the same setup as the Behringer (except no limiters I think) but it is just $223:Smokin: This would be a good way to save money on a cheap solution for band practice!!!
But anyone got an experience with Gemini products????
