Genz Benz El Diablo 100 Head?

Any of you guys ever played through one of these? I've heard about them here and there but have never had the chance to try one.. There's one on craigslist in my area for 500$, so I'm considering it.

I've heard good things about them, but unfortunately I've never listened to one in person. It seems they sell for between $1000 and $1500 new, so $500 is a pretty good deal.

Fredrik in Opeth tried those for a while, even live with a cover band, but he ended up not taking the endorsement...

No dice. Mikeal Akerfeldt just runs his GT-6 through his Laney's power amp. It sounds great for live. I have a GT-8 and need to try this out as well.

I tried one about 6 years ago and it sounded pretty good i remember. But there isn't much room for tweeking your own sound.

I must say though that Fredriks sound is much more distinct when you watch them live. He uses Marshall JVM right now.
