George Lynch tearin' it up in the desert (i lol'ed)

makes sense to me (thought about micing a cab like that myself).
almost perfect circumstances (almost perfectly diffuse soundfield etc).
look how far the mics are from the cab, he'll still not get any reflections/room influences....just pure cab-tone but with more control over the mic-speaker-distance

IMHO, is stupid. I'm sure many people can get better tones with 1 cab 1 cab and in a small room. There is no need in doing that except if your intention is to show the world how cool you are.
I wish some desert rattlesnake bites his balls.

You're just jealous of how frikkin' cool George Lynch really is!

George used to be my GOD (you can still hear it in my playing). But I haven't been impressed by anything he's done (or his attitude) since his Sacred Groove solo album (and even that only had a few good moments). I'm sorry George, but I'd rather keep replaying stuff from your glory days than hearing anything new from you.
